The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Berlin Germany and met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and a host of business heads to discuss boosting bilateral economic engagement and inviting more investment for India’s transformation. India and Germany today, started the fourth round of the biannual Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC) here headed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Both the countries have signed a 8 deal MoU and PM Modi has announced the important issues discussed during the meet.

Guten Tag Deutschland. This is my second official visit to Germany.

I have interacted with Chancellor Angela Merkel at multiple forums and I have always admired her insight on a range of issues.

We had wide-ranging discussions today. The India-Germany partnership will help our nations and also the world.

Ministers of both countries had wide-ranging discussions in the areas of cooperation between India and Germany.

We are looking at outcome oriented momentum in India-Germany ties and a quantum jump, especially in economic ties.

Climate protection is a top priority for India. Living in harmony with nature has been a part of our culture for thousands of years.

Our cooperation in areas like renewable energy is gaining momentum.

Germany’s extensive work in skill development, which has set the standards globally can benefit the youth of India.

India is giving an impetus to next-gen infrastructure and this is an area where we want to extensively work with Germany.

Science and technology, the start-up world are an important area which has been given special attention during my visit.
