It’s official: Chandra Babu Naidu becomes the richest CM in India

Apart from a great visionary, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has become famous for one more reason.

Chandra Babu Naidu made history by becoming the richest CM in India with the assets worth of Rs 177 crores. The Association of Democratic Reform (ADR) released the list of rich and poor CMs.

According to the report, Nara Chandrababu Naidu became the richest while Tripura CM, Manik Sarkar is the poorest.

His assets worth just over 26 lakhs. Chandrababu Naidu has movable assets worth of 134.8 crores and immovable assets worth of 42.68 crores, approximately on his name.

His nearest second in the list is Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Pema Khandu with assets worth, 129.57 crores. Next in the list in Punjab CM, Captain Amarinder Singh with assets worth of 48.31 crores.

Telangana Chief Minister, Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao stood fourth with 15.15 crores worth assets.

Interestingly, in the Top Ten list, none of the BJP CMs have made a place. Six Chief Ministers belong to Congress and rest four belong to TDP, BJD, TRS, and SDF.

Didi of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has assets valued at 31 lakhs, approximately, making her second ‘poorest’ CM in India.

Yogi Adityanath, the CM of Uttar Pradesh, is the richest among the non-crorepathi CMs with 95.98 lakhs worth of assets.

On the whole, Nara Chandrababu Naidu made it to the record books as the richest CM in our country, today!
