Modi will bring the moon to India by 2030, says Rahul Gandhi

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making the promises that they cannot possibly keep. He made few sarcastic comments on PM saying that Modi will bring the moon to the India by 2030. He alleged that PM had left promises unfulfilled and said, “Modi, your party has been in power in Gujarat for 22 years. Yet you say, we will eradicate poverty in the state by 2022.”

Addressing the gathering at the meeting, Rahul said, “This is the man who has been in power in Gujarat for the last 22 years. So, let me tell you what Modi will tell you next… By 2025, he will give every person in Gujarat a rocket to send them to the Moon. By 2028, he will give a home to everyone on the Moon. And by 2030, Modiji will bring the Moon to India.” Rahul questioned, “Have you seen a Nano car on the road or highway? Does it even manufacture anymore?” He also said that the UPA government gave Gujarat Rs 35,000 crore for MNREGA to generate employment. Modiji gave Rs 33,000 crore to Tata (Motors) to set up a car plant. He added, “Modi snatched away your lands, your water and gave it to industrialists. Congress is going to change your lives.”
