After ‘Baahubali 2’, it’s Shankar-Rajinikanth’s ‘Robo 2.O’ is the most-awaited movie which is also the costliest movie ever in the history of Indian cinema. Featuring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, the movie is made on a lavish budget of over 400 crores which is all set for grand release on 25th January, next year.
Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan who was first approached for the lead role in the movie has forecasted the movie’s result and said it would be the biggest blockbuster in Indian cinema and would obliterate all the records.
“In fact, Rajini sir himself called me and told me about this film, and when I met Shankar, it doesn’t take me too long to realize that it’s going to be a record-shattering blockbuster film. I was really excited about it; however, every time I thought about the film, I couldn’t see anyone in the film other than Rajini sir. It was meant for him and I couldn’t emotionally attach myself to the film. That’s why I had to turn down the film,” Aamir Khan said.
The movie’s post-production is in full swing and the makers of 2.O are all set to launch the film’s audio later this month in Dubai, and the teaser will be unveiled in Hyderabad in November.
